Through the Contact Form, we are required to collect data relating to your surname, first name, e-mail address, the company in which you work and the functions you perform there, the country in which your company is established, as well as the subject and content of the message you wish to send us.

You can optionally communicate your telephone number and the city in which you are located.

The Contact Form allows you to contact us to learn more about a product, request a product sample or request general information.

3. WHY DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA?

The data relating to your identity, your company and the functions you perform there allow us to ensure that you are a professional, our services are not aimed at private individuals.

When using the Contact Form to request information about a product or for any general information request, data are collected so that we can contact you back in order to answer to your message.

When using the Contact Form to request product samples, data are collected so that we can identify the recipient of the order, contact them if necessary and deliver the requested samples.

Those data are also used for our customer file.

The data relating to your company’s country allow us to verify that we are competent to satisfy your request.

Regarding the optional communication of your telephone number, this data will allow us, if necessary, to contact you back by telephone.

Regarding the optional communication of the city in which you are established, this data will allow us, if necessary, to identify the establishment of your company if it has several establishments within the same country.

 

4. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS COLLECTION?

The data will be collected and processed in a fair and lawful manner, and will be used for the performance of the services offered on the Website.

We only collect your personal data if you have expressly given your consent.

6. WHO ARE OUR SUBCONTRACTORS?

In the context of the data processing carried out, we use subcontractors who are:

  • The Compagny Altinea SAS, which hosts all personal data processed on the Website, and located at 9 rue du Faubourg, 39570 Nogna – France;

  • The Company Glasshouse, which maintains the Website, and located at 36 rue Benedit, 13004 Marseille – France.

We guarantee that our subcontractors host the data within the European Union and provide adequate guarantees as for the implementation of appropriate technical and organisational measures so that the processing complies with the requirements of EU Regulation 2016/679 and the Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978.

In any case, any subcontracting is carried out in strict compliance with the present document. Therefore, we guarantee that our subcontractors will in no case exceed the processing methods defined in this present document.

The subcontractor may itself be authorised to subcontract all or part of its operations subject to strict compliance with the provisions of Article 28 of EU Regulation 2016/679 and this document.

However, as processing controllers, we remain your unique interlocutor.

 

7. TO WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA?

Our Company is the only addressee of all data collected and processed. Only our Company’s personnel duly authorized may possibly become aware of it.

Our subcontracted IT service providers may have access to the data during their maintenance operations, but under no circumstances may they perform any other data processing operation, such as modification or use of the data.

 

8. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

In accordance with the regulations in force, you have rights over your personal data.

To exercise these rights, you must write to us specifying the subject of your request and provide you with proof of receipt of your request.

Any request to exercise your rights will be accompanied by a copy of your identity document in order to prevent any fraud and/or illegal access to your data.

We reserve the right not to satisfy your request if the data concerned by your request does not meet the above-mentioned conditions.

For all data that do not meet the above criteria, you can only exercise the rights mentioned in the previous clause (Article 8.1).

We will not stand in the way of transmission of the data concerned by the right to portability to another processing controller, either through you or directly where this is technically possible. Supposing that the direct transmission of the data to another processing controller is not technically possible, we will inform you and propose an alternative solution.

We are not responsible for the processing that you perform on the data from the right to portability once you have retrieved it. We are also not responsible for the processing carried out by the company that recovered your data following a request you have made to this effect.

8.3 Right to formulate advance directives

In accordance with the regulations in force, you may formulate advance instructions on the use of your data after your death (for example: storage, deletion, disclosure). You can change or retract your instructions at any time.

8.4 Right to file a complaint

9. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

The data collected from the Contact Form are kept for the time necessary for us to respond to you and, possibly, for the duration of the successive exchanges that may take place between you and us. We subsequently archive this data for a period not exceeding one (1) year from the time it was collected or the last message you sent to us.

The data collected in the context of the request for product samples are stored in our customer file for a period of five (5) years from the end of our contractual relationship, a period corresponding to the legal limitation period in contractual matters.

In the event that you have not objected to commercial prospecting, your personal data are kept for a period of three (3) years from the date of their collection or the last contact made by you (for example, a request for documentation or a click on a hypertext link contained in an email constitutes a contact from you. However, the opening of an email cannot be considered as a contact from you). At the end of this three (3) year period, we may contact you to find out if you wish to continue to receive commercial solicitations. In the absence of a positive and explicit answer from you, the data will be deleted.

It is also recalled that the storage period for cookies is eighteen (18) days, which a new visit to the Site cannot extend the duration.

In addition, we may retain anonymous or anonymized data in an irreversible process for an unlimited period for statistical processing purposes. Given the anonymous nature of these data, they are not considered as personal data within the meaning of EU Regulation 2016/679.

In the event of exercise of the right of access or rectification, data relating to identity documents shall be kept for the period provided by Article 9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, namely one (1) year.

In the event of exercise of the right of objection, data relating to identity documents may be archived during the limitation period provided by Article 8 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, namely three (3) years.

In the event of exercise fo the right of objection to receive commercial prospecting, the data necessary to take into account the exercise of your right, such as your e-mail address, are kept for three (3) years from the exercise of your right and may not be used for any other purpose.
